Riley McAlpine
In 1996, having just moved from her small town in Vermont to Los Angeles,CA, Riley found out that she had just been chosen for a job leading ten teenagers across the country on bicyles. The interesting thing was that although she was super fit from her running and cross-country ski racing, she was not yet really a cyclist. She had one month to purchase a bike, find out what to wear, learn to shift, click into the pedals and change a flat tire (Funny story, for more on that go to her website www.teamrileyracing.com). Everything went wrong and she vowed that someday she would help others so that they would not have to learn the hard way as she did. Now all of you potential tri-camp people are probably not about to go across the country but are about to embark on a triathlon and need some guidance with your cycling. You've come to the right place! Riley will help you from scratch and get you up and riding with confidence!
